I really do enjoy data, but it’s the people I get to work with that make it so great. Setting up collaborations, facilitating hackdays where everyone gets a voice, bringing ideas to life, coaching people to help them get to the next level - I love it all. Outside of work.

I’m pottery obsessed.

I started making pottery around 3 years ago when I had a go on a wheel at the Ilkley Art Trail. The teacher took me under his wing and taught me from his studio. Over time I started to buy my own gear and converted my garage into a studio with a wheel, kiln, rollers and now have friends over to have a go too.

Last year I set myself the goal of getting into sculpture, rather than only creating mugs, and bowls. This year I’m pushing myself to create weird, big sculptures. It’ll take time, but that’s why I do it - I enjoy the process. Follow me on instagram if you like.

Racing.

Ever since I was young I wanted to be a “race car driver”. I finally took the plunge and started racing in the Caterham Graduates championship. I’m very much a rookie, but it’s a dream come true and I love competing in such a friendly club.
